What We Do

We are spray painters, specialising in the painting of automotive parts. These include Ford AU Spoilers, Holden Monaro Sideskirts, Holden Station Wagon Rear Air Deflectors, Mitsubishi VRX Spoilers and Toyota Camry Spoilers, to name a few.

We also paint other industrial parts but our core activity is in the painting of automotive parts for which we have attained a high degree of experience and skill to turn out high-quality painted parts - in 2K as well as acrylic paint systems. To provide a spray-painting service that is reliable, of high quality and reasonably priced, towards the attainment of a competitive edge for the manufacturing industry of Victoria, and Australia.

History

Scape Industries came into being in 1994 when its current owners bought over Lundrich Decorators and Painters. The new company took on the painting of automotive OE parts and has not looked back.

It grew in strength and expertise, and moved from its premises in Braeside to a bigger factory in Carrum Downs in 2001. As it carved a niche for itself in the automotive industry, Scape needed even more space after that. The company found a suitable piece of industrial land in Dandenong and decided to build its own factory. Scape moved in to that factory, where it is now, in December 2004.

Team/People

The Scape team comprises six spray painters, two assemblers, nine preparers and four polishers, under the able supervision of Supervisor Neil Singh, and directors Syed Taha and Othman Rahim.

We reward loyalty. Many of our staff have been with us from the beginning. Nick, one of our assemblers, and Toan, painter, are among those who have clocked more than ten years service. The others are expected to follow in their footsteps.

As our staff remain with us, they acquire the skill and discipline needed to offer the kind of service that we do. Our customers do not expect anything less. That is the way we approach our work and that is how we grow, the staff and the company, together.
